I am Mikayla, or Mia Marie. I am a young aspiring model, among many other things. i'm here to showcase my abilities !♥ live free of judgement, be who you are, love & laugh, grow and create,take everything to new heights and watch all your dreams unfold..
I am 17 years old, turning 18 in December. Confidence is key. which i am working on.. [: i'm kind of a quiet, and shy person at first,but i warm up, and get comfortable. i'm a positive spirit to have around, and my confidence starts to radiate. i'm just always afraid to say or do the wrong thing at first. but im slowly learning, the more i don't think about it, the more real, and me it is. which is unique and beautiful in it's own way ! I am 5'10 - 5'11. 145 pounds, i'm not tiny, bit i'm not big either. pretty average, infact. small breasts, but thats okay. I don't think you need stereotypical 'big breasts' to be beautiful in the public eye, you just need to believe you're beautiful! I would probably be classified as an alternative model, due to my piercings, hair and style. i have four facial piercings right now, and my ears stretched, aswell as my belly button. I also have a mullet-hawk ( a mohawk that is long in the back,like a mullet) that i completely did by myself. i tend to change my hair often, it's usually a pretty out there and weird experiment i want to try. although i may fall into certain style, i'm unbelievably versatile! and, i just may surprise you. I have a ton of freckles! all over my body, and face. they're pretty light though,so depending on the makeup and editing and lighting, you may not be able to see them. I have a backround of gymnastics, i don't do it anymore, but i'm still very flexible because of it; makes for some great poses !

I am a new model, just starting to feel my way around this business. i'm looking to open as many doors and seek as many opportunities as possbile! Whether that be, being a canvas for MUA's,helping to sell a product. or being a prop or a puppet in making everyone, and anyones visions come together. even just lending a hand, wherever needed.. perhaps, a head of hair to work with for hairressers and stylists,( you can almost literally do anything! with what i have left for hair) or a practice model, for lighting, wardorbe ect.. I want to do it all! And i love to help out the little guys, who are new also... so i will have all of my stuff up here; to showcase everyone's beautiful work. Everyone has to start somewhere.. new photographers, need new models. so here i am, but i would obviously like to get as far, and work with people who do have alot of experience also. i would just like you to know, that i'm a nice person and like to help people out! whether it be, the big or little guys. i'm here for your visions to come true, no matter who you are! if you bring something to the table,you never know what opportunities await you!


The type of modeling i'm most interested in doing, is pin up and budoir style shoots. (i'm aware i have to wait till i am 18 to do budoir, which is why i want a head start!) I want to get comfortable in front of photographers who know what they're doing, and in front of the camera. that is definately not the only kind of modeling i would like to do. i'm super versatile, and want to expand my horizons every way possible. push and challenge myself to do what other people and myself, doubts me in.

I'm located in Duncan, on Vancouver Island. And at the moment, my travelling abilities are kind of limited, partially because my mother has to sign the release form and be there the whole time. She wants to help make my dreams come true, she just has a very busy life. i'm not sure what can be done...but if anything, at all is possible for shooting please let me know, cause whatever i can make fit is better than nothing!

I am going to highschool fulltime, working towards being in Hairdressing school February, 2013. I then intend on getting my beautician license and opening up some sort of business using all my gathered skills.

I am very artistic in soo many aspects, just naturally very talented, but looking to grow, far beyond the skills i have now. i am not looking only to learn about modeling. i would love to learn about photography aswell, and all of its aspects...i do have a very big interest in it, but in this field, while i'm so young, i'd like to start out in front of the camera, but take as many notes and suggestions and pointers from people who have worked on both sides of the lens. Aswell as everything in between! like makeup and hair, and wardrobe. since the beginning i've always been so interested in those three things. and intend on pursuing them as my career, hairdressing first. hopefully in February 2013!

I've been singing my whole life, and have recently started playing guitar..started in September 2011. i'm working on getting my music out there at the moment too! I also love to write poetry, and hope to someday collaborate my writing and musical abilities to make something beautiful of my own. I've written one song so far, hope to continue making much, much more!

I also, paint and draw in all different styles, i'm not very fast at producing art work...but thats because im not easily inspired though, unfortunately. People are what interest me the most. I have alot of skills and talent..but not alot of ideas or inspiration. I've been quite lacking in thet area lately. but i feed well off of other ideas, and people. and am a very fast learner! Once i get my head back in the game, it will start flowing again~
