Fake Believe Photography (previously known as 40 Below Photography) is run by me, Kimberley Crawford. This is a part time passion for me (I am also a designer, writer and artist) that I hope will help me meet some awesome new people to help me build up my portfolio. And maybe someday I can make enough money for my hobby to pay for itself. Here are some notes on me and my photography:

I have been taking photos for 6 years, and began learning how to take portraits so that I could do fashion shoots for my clothing line.

I LOVE making women feel good about themselves – both with my photography and my clothing. Because I enjoy doing this so much, my work leans more towards fashion, boudoir, pinup, and fetish styles. Every woman should feel sexy, and every woman can look sexy when given the right opportunity.

I shoot using a Canon Rebel T1i. That doesn't mean I won't work hard to give you great photos. I'd like a nicer camera, but everyone has to start somewhere, and this camera hasn't failed me yet.

I have lighting gear, but I prefer using natural light whenever possible as I like the softer effect. I'm a tomboy who grew up spending summers in the bush, so I love shooting outside whenever possible.

I usually travel once or twice a year, making frequent trips to Newfoundland, Vancouver, and sometimes Kelowna. I'd love to work with people outside of Whitehorse, so if you would like to work with me, just send me a message. Who knows, maybe I will be in your area in the near future! ;)
