Karina Weeks was born on July 8, 1990. After the Armenian earthquake her family relocated to Italy and later on to Russia, where she grew up. With only a hundred dollars to her name she moved to the United States to pursue her dreams.
After receiving an Award at one of the world's most prestigious events in Hollywood for entertainment programming her career gained traction .
She highlighted the Las Vegas Armenian community’s commitment to the pursuit of the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, as well as the necessary territorial and monetary reparations and restitution that have been the cornerstone of the struggle for justice for the Armenian Genocide.
Karina Weeks has marked the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide by hosting the Armenian Cultural evening, where she received a community recognition Award for her record-breaking performance of the poem "We are few but we are called Armenians", written by one of the most famous Armenian author Paruyr Sevak. Her performance was a huge motivation for the other artists that have expressed their admiration toward her talent and charisma.
Recently, Karina Weeks was crowned Ms Paradise on April, 19th at the Miss Nevada Peagent, where she was invited to represent her community next year at the Miss Nevada Peagent.
She believes that her story of survival, hope, determination and success will unite and inspire people around the world!
