Hi everyone, and thank-you for visiting my page!

My name is Sarah Young and I recently completed my Diploma of 'Specialist Makeup Services' at Swinburne Tafe in Melbourne. This course trained us in a wide variety of skills, ranging from beauty, fashion, stage, B&W, character, editorial, period, SFX and prosthetic makeup, right through to hair and wig styling (just to name a few).

Throughout last year, I was required to complete practical work placement, independently organised, which saw me take part in the Stonnington 'Expression Fashion Gala 2012', where I was given the opportunity to create fashion looks for a model and a number of designers. I also took part in a student film 'Riverside', where I was primarily required to complete sfx makeup. Throughout the year also took part in a television show called 'Melbourne 22' for a couple of episodes, which saw me apply makeup to the hosts of the show, along with a number of guests. I also offered my services for a photo-shoot to and up and coming company called 'Saldi Vintage', who specialise in vintage clothing and Jewellery.

I have since also began to offer my for services for Weddings and special events.

I am looking to expand on my experience and build up my portfolio in the process and would love to collaborate with creative and professional individuals.

***I am especially interested in expanding my skills in SFX and Prosthetics makeup and would love the opportunity to assist any established artists who are currently working in the industry***
