About Me

Using the medium of black-and-white photography, I am depicting the aesthetics of the human figure.  In this context,  I develop images based on three types of  poses: (1) poses that represent improvisations on paintings or sculpture of past masters, (2) poses that present a geometrical interpretation of the human figure including evoking a feeling of motion associated with dance, and (3) poses that evoke or suggest commentary on social or political issues.
