My art and photography have been influenced by my sexuality, people I have met on my journey in life and artists whom I admire. My photography now concentrates on expressing my “inner world and thoughts”. Over the last two decades I have tried to portray life and people in a primal way, which is an exploration of the deeper levels of my experience and my take on the world. I enjoy capturing the uniqueness of people and have a leaning towards darker and moody portraits. I use props in my photography and intentionally work in environments using derelict buildings and locations that capture an atmosphere or a theme I wish to portray. I also undertake street photography with the intention of capturing unique moments with or within particular communities, groups or individuals. I also love to capture landscapes including industrial, urban or rural.

I work from Thorpe Bay in Southend On Sea, Essex, hence the title of my general website. I undertake portrait work on location and in a studio. I have my own home studio and always require local models for portrait work. I am keen to work with males but happy also to work with females.

I am a member of the GPN Network of photographers and an Exhibited Photographer having exhibited at the Conningsby Gallery; Strand Gallery; in London between 2011-13. I have had worked published for promotion of the exhibitions in QX Magazine, the Independent Online and won the Beyond Words Literary London Award - Photographic Competition for Foyles in London. I have recently exhibited work at the Guildhall London and am awaiting an exhibtion in Hackney.
