We are a band with a few exciting opportunities coming up for performance videos, as well as being musicians we are filmmakers as well and are currently working on a project to start being filmed early March 2013

'Gaoler’s Daughter have come a long way since their formation, when they shared rehearsal space with Is Tropical in an abandoned toilet factory in South London. Following a trilogy of well received independent EPs (played by Steve Lamacq and John Kennedy) the boys were asked to support Babyshambles on their UK tour. The band’s last 3 rousing singles have been championed by Zane Lowe, Tom Robinson, Mary Anne Hobbs, Tom Ravenscroft, Rich Walters and The Selector’s Goldierocks (amongst other UK taste-makers) and they have now clocked up 4 Hype Machine #1′s as well as featuring on the Hype Machine radio show.
2012 saw the boys continue their live success story, playing gigs and festivals across the UK and Europe to support the release of their 3rd single ‘When We Were Young’ as well as being asked to support Graham Coxon and We Are Scientists.
The band’s fan-funded debut album is scheduled for release in April 2013! Watch this space…'
