I began shooting people 10 years ago on medium format, mostly concert and street life. After a few years I moved towards modeling and have been intrigued with the way a model can portray so much emotion through the lens. I specialize in underwater photography now and want to grow my underwater modeling portfolio. I am looking for models that are especially good in the water. Breath holding, fluid movement, calmness, etc. I am going for a look that is weightless. I want the image to not look as though it was taken underwater, but instead, in space. Dresses, scarves, beads.... basically high fashion meets zero gravity. I am a certified divemaster, trained freediver, and lifegaurd. I would never put a model in a situation that they or I felt was unsafe. Most shoots I do are in pools, or shallow ocean.
