Sprinkle a seed into rich, dark soil and add plenty of water, but you still won't yield the fruit of a mysterious BadSeed. Flourishing without the typical basic needs of a plant, BadSeed prides herself on survival minus two parts hydrogen & one part oxygen; she breaks through the testa utilizing her willfullness in place of water and her obstinacy rather than sunlight to sow herself into all things fashion- and entertainment-related.

This force of creativity and fierce fashion sense - delicate & peculiar, yet delightfully tempestuous - was born on November 5, 1980 to a Black-American mother and a Bahamian father (deceased). As an adolescent, BadSeed sought assuagement from the sudden loss of her dad by turning to a rough crowd with whom she coasted the streets of Miami, Florida until her mother uprooted the family and nestled into life in Atlanta, Georgia in 1996. It was in Atlanta that her poetry gained a new purpose. Initially, she used prose and verses to express the emotions anchoring her heart, heavy due her father's untimely death. In the growing metropolis of Black music (from soul to gospel), BadSeed channeled those thoughts into music lyrics. In 1998, she signed to CaJo Records, owned by Grammy-nominated gospel hip-hop artist and childhood friend Canton Jones. Her natural penchant to spread her roots led her to sign to R & B vocalist Nivea's label, Nivea Entertainment, and Colon Lampkin's Lampkin International Management company 4 years later, and she eventually earned her spot as a hype girl for Nivea's international tour. It was during that time that she earned the moniker "BadSeed." Her label mates Gangsta Pat, Petey Pablo and other industry family suggested that her disposition was akin to that of the main character of a movie sharing the name. BadSeed remained with her label for three years, where she enjoyed the peaks of the industry's abundant opportunities and met the lows of having to realign her career goals with her artistic appetite.

BadSeed realized her intense fascination with modeling when she posed at her first photoshoot in Japan while touring parts of Europe and Asia with Nivea and her other label mates. "I remember the feelings I got when I did my first shoot," she explains, "I knew, then, that modeling/photography was my true passion." Since then, she has posed for renowned photogs and honed her craft.

BadSeed lives by the adage, "Never let yesterday's disappointments overshadow today's dreams because your time to shine just may be tomorrow," and she truly personifies that notion. In fact, she will never exhaust because she isn't designed to concede to defeat, so her garden will continue to blossom new opportunities until she satisfies her insatiable appetite for maturation of her modeling & fashion endeavors - so by the time others reach their finish lines of ultimate success, they'll be eating from last season's harvest of the BadSeed
