Hi there! My name is Jay. Right now I am entering the business of portrait photography, which is why I am here. My friend Toni Burrell (toniburrellhairstudio.net) just opened up her own salon last month (June 2015). Being that we're both beginning our own businesses, we've decided to partner up for a photoshoot. She will be in charge of providing professional hair styling, her assistant will be providing make up, and I will be photographing. A little about my photography and myself:
My focus is on outdoor portrait photography. I enjoy photographing outside because I find it fun working with sun light and the various backgrounds that the outdoors presents. I've done a lot of learning when it comes to photography, but being that portrait photography typically involves non-models, I've also studied posing. This has really helped me learn the angles and poses that will flatter the different types of bodies that we all have. I'm still learning, but I've definitely grown, and I'm looking forward to continuing that journey.
