I've been drawn to urban exploration over the past year and have built a collection of interesting locales and considerable catalog of photographs. I have now decided that adding the element of a model to my work brings a dimension that helps define the space and contrasts the model.

Those spaces are static as they are abandoned, but there is a wealth of detail and the juxtaposition of the female form in those bleak surroundings has become a strong interest for me. There are incredible light opportunities as well as composing humans in a variety of forms from dramatic costumes and scenes to lingerie and nudity depending on weather.

The end goal for me is a book or a variety of themed series. I have level expectations that there will still be a lot for me to master. I'm interested in some models who would like to build their portfolio with some unusual compositions and and experience some of these fascinating and breath taking spaces.

I've been told that I am very easy to work with and everyone seems to have fun. Building a connection with the subjects of course makes all the difference and these locations seem to help do that.

From a style perspective I have learnt that a scouting trip with some experimentation for light without props, etc., is a key ingredient for the a successful shoot. If you like exploring too that is an added benefit. I have a keen eye for perspective and am driven by light. I have a plethora of pictures on flickr beyond the samples on here.

Perhaps start with a visit to one and a few test shots will hopefully let you know if kind of project might be for you.
