Hi, my name is Daniel Bax and I'm a professional photographer and I specialize in fashion, editorial, portrait, event and commercial photography. First of all, I'd like thank you for visiting my profile! I'm honored to have the opportunity to work with so many talented and creative people and to be fortunate enough to make a living doing what I love! For all of this I am eternally grateful! Also, because of that, I take my job very seriously, I work hard and long hours on all of my photo shoots, and I don't settle - period. My work wouldn't be what it is without my amazing clients and staff. I feel blessed to be supported by such a great crew of equally talented individuals that are all just as hard working as I am and I would be nothing without them.

A large part of my business is shooting major red carpet, celebrity and high-end events, but personally, my true artistic passion is shooting beautifully dramatic fashion and editorial portraits. That's why I'm here on MM as it's a great venue to further expand my portfolio with the work I truly love to do!

Though my job is technically complex, it is to simply capture my muse/subject as beautifully and eloquently as possible. I hope that you are as excited as I am to work together and create some amazing photo magic!!

A little more about me and my creative background:

I am a creative professional who has worked in the entertainment industry (film / TV / Music) for over 12 years. Along with being a professional photographer, I've worn many other hats within the entertainment industry over the years… My job titles and credits include: producer, director, musician/audio engineer/DJ, and multimedia creative specialist / consultant.

On the business side of things, I also own a multimedia production company, recording studio and record label. (BaxTrax)

On the creative side I am simply and purely an artist at heart and I am strongly dedicated to the continued growth in my artistic endeavors. I absolutely love what I do and I love being a part of the creative process to use art as a way to effectively change the world in a positive way!!

What great photography is to me:

To me, great photography is not only about capturing a special moment in time, but doing so in a way that tells a story that evokes feelings and emotions within that single captured image!  I must admit, I am equally (if not more) a nerd as I am an artist.  Thus a major reason that the art of photography has always fascinated me, is it's beautiful blend of both creative artistry and scientific principles.  Combined with the opportunity to process and produce media projects with dynamic cutting edge technological tools, I find great joy and satisfaction in all the work I'm fortunate to do.  When shooting, my major focus is on finding that special moment in time and precisely capturing it from the perfect perspective while using the most optimal circumstantial methodology.  From beginning to end, I'm committed and look forward to opportunity to help my clients attain the most effective and beautiful images to showcase their projects and passions.
