My interest in fashion and beauty photography was spawned by my work on fashion-related television shows like America's Next Top Model and Project Runway All Stars. For the work I get paid to do most often, I have no control over anything, and the idea of being able to shape the light and craft an image is very appealing. And, of course, working with other creative people is both inspiring and energizing.

Update: Closed my studio; I was working on location too much to really justify it.

** To clarify, I don't shoot for VS. I covered a few of their fashion shows for CBS. I appreciate your desires to model for them and I encourage everyone to pursue their dreams, but I don't have inside information about or contacts within VS.
