Photography was never anything more than a hobby for me. I was always fascinated by the delicate mechanisms of the cameras themselves, and I began with 35mm Film Cameras. It became a rather expensive endeavour after a few years in spite of the fact that I did my own Dark Room processing of Black & White images. I was away from it for a number of years. It is now just over four years ago, that I acquired a DSLR camera and took up the hobby again. It is within the last two years or so that I've elected to steer my efforts at photography towards a specific goal.
I'm self taught/learned in both Film, and Digital photography. My approach is that of a PURIST, and though I recognize that it's a seemingly futile battle to attempt to compete in a world of Digital Imaging Manipulation experts, my aim is to create a SIGNATURE for myself that allows me to stand apart from the masses.

I'm an ex-Automobile Repair Technician who feels that life should NOT end upon retirement, nor in the years immediately following.
I want to continue living, and learning, and photography is making both of these things possible.
