About Me

I became drawn to photography more than a decade ago, back in the film and darkroom days, because I love bringing out the beauty in people. Photographing and idealizing the human form is a driving force in all of my work.

In addition to owning and running my own studio, I've lately been turning my skills toward developing instructional materials and classes to encourage other San Francisco photographers, artists, and performers to take their work to the next level, and showcase their talent and their art as they develop their ideas.

I believe that a creation hidden away in a media card and never seen is lost to the world.

I'm looking forward to meeting other creatives, in front of the camera and behind, who want to grow, experience, and share more of what they love to do. I try never to turn away a model looking for help expanding a portfolio, or a photographer looking for studio space to shoot a new creation. There's always a way to make it work!
