My name is Claudia Rose Carter and I'm a British editorial portrait photographer based in London & Essex.

I'm fascinated by the use of light and work with the intention of only using available lighting. I rarely approach a shoot with a storyboard or a set concept; I prefer to utilise a space and work as ideas come to me.

I love apple crumble on cold winter days, warm woollen socks, the autumn colours, thought-out tattoos, vintage furniture, my family, christmas time, the outside world, water and beaches and forests, hand-drawn illustrations, any kind of gangster movie, old cinemas with reclining armchairs, recipe books with faded corners, ranulph fiennes and stephen fry, audiobooks on long drives, making plans and writing lists and my son.

I would love to work with any models, female or male, that are working towards something a little bit different, a little bit unique, for their portfolio.
