I am a hobbyist. I have been shooting for 9 years. I have portable lights and backgrounds and can shoot on location or in a home or studio. I use photoshop to enhance my images but my style is to stay fairly realistic. I don't normally utilize over-the-top processing.
I have people who have seen my work approach me for family portraits and other events. I have had some insist on paying me but I really need more practice so I am on Model Mayhem searching for models, any age or gender who will trade their time for print/CD. I recently quit calling myself amateur and am now calling myself "semi-pro.
For female models, I insist an additional person be present for security and safety.
