I shoot in many genres and styles. I work in a very painterly, expressionistic way for some projects, and a very tight....intellectual, controlled way for others. I prefer to show emotions, motion and life rather than just continually shooting posed static shots. Some work is in a very Lo-fi style, other times I use large formats to capture every detail. Capturing images in a way that best illustrates the spirit and intent of the message is key.

I work in both Photography and Film/Video. Studied Journalism at a large University for 2.5 years, then transferred to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. I graduated with a major in Media Arts and a Fine Art minor.

Work in the film industry consists primarily of commercials, corporate, features and music videos. Credits include Director of Photography, Director, Producer, Copywriter.

I am available for work shooting advertising and editorial projects. I will also take some appointments for shooting head shots, portfolios, etc.

Currently looking for Models, Actors, Make-up artists, Stylists to create a group, a sort of ensemble cast, for producing photographic series, film & video projects, building portfolios and reels, and of course the "first call" list for paying gigs. I am in Seattle so Portland or Vancouver BC  people would be great to hear from too. In Minneapolis I had a great group and would like to do the same in the Seattle area.

I have some stories I would like to tell in photographic series and video. I need to find the right people to bring these ideas to fruition.
