Though Layanna Kai began wearing makeup in the 6th grade, it was not until applying makeup on others during a Halloween event that she realized she had a natural talent as a makeup artist.

With encouragement and support, she began taking on clients of her own which allowed Layanna Kai to launch her debut brand, LayTheBeat, as an online social identity to maintain and expand her relationships with clients, fans and brands all over.
ncluding working with high profile clients and building partnerships with some of the worlds top brands such as Revlon and Match.com. Layanna has taken her artistry to the next level, and with an open mind to learn and better her craft has assistant on Production sets, Commercials and Fashion shows.

As a now certified makeup artist through Makeup Up First School of Artistry and a represented artist through La’Bella Mafia Agency, Layanna continues to commit her life to the world of artistry that will continue to be a driving force in her career.
