The constant demand for left-brain thinking as a programmer has always lead me to seek balance with the need for some form of artistic expression. I have found this mainly through music but more recently, a few years of late, through photography.

Capturing the beauty of a fleeting instant, locking it into some permanence, has become more than just a hobby but a personal pursuit - an endeavour to constantly improve in an attempt to properly honour what I see through the lens.

Photo editing software has become for me an artistic tool to enhance some of my imagery to further expand on the feeling or idea I had the moment when the shutter clicked.

The lens is a great looking glass of life.
