About Me

I'm a young photographer, I learn by try out.

Photography is simply a hobby for me, every time the shutter closes, a little bit of experience is added. Slowly, I'm upgrading my equipment and building out a cosy home-studio.

With the prospect of spring, I'll be looking to shift my focus back onto outdoors photography. Having done plenty of urb ex in the past, I know about the nice little spots that are hidden all over Belgium.

During a shoot you'll rarily be alone, my girlfriend - Maria - is my resident stylist / make up artist. She'll make sure you look the part and together we decide on creative settings to get some pictures going.

Payment ...

I've done some paid assignments so far:
- Your standard communion pictures of children / concert & party photography / Press photography / ...
- I am the resident photographer of Spartiates, a Belgian (Spartan) re-enactment group that focuses strongly about being as historically correct as possible.

I have never paid anyone for a shoot so far.
I will consider paying someone for a shoot:
- When I make money out of it myself. (After all, we all put in the work)
- When I believe my skills are good enough to make stunning pictures of experienced models that will not only build my portfolio, but would also contribute to theirs. ( You get the idea :) )

So for now, please don't contact me with any proposals for shoots where you want to drag money from my pocket. I spend time, energy and money in this hobby already:

- I work together with a local photographer to get pictures printed dirt cheap
- I continue to invest in new equipment (camera, lenses, studio, portable lighting, make up, clothing, ...)

Upcoming gigs:
- Promotional pictures for Spartiates 2015
---> Will need: mainly male models who act in battle scenes with our Spartans
- Second hand fashion
---> In cooperation with local second hand shops and the city of Antwerp, coming summer we want to prove that you don't have to spend to look the part. Pictures will be printed out and hung up in the second hand stores and hopefully distributed through local media. This is a volunteer project, if you're interested ... Gimme a shout, but don't expect money out of it. There ain't any for me either :).
- Spina Bifida shoot: In cooperation with a Belgian national organisation we'll make creative shoots of their members as promotional pictures for the organisation.
