David Davis is a northern California portrait photographer who
specializes in vintage Hollywood glamour photography and creative
headshots for the discerning professional.

He picked up his first Brownie camera as a teenager and immediately
fell in love with the magic of photography. David was initially self-taught as
a photograher. He acquired his darkroom chemistry skills as a hobby while
in the U.S. Navy in the early 1970’s. His formal photography training began in
college in the 1980’s, but David contiues to study photography as a life-long
learner “Since my early teens and over the course of my entire adult life I
have always been fascinated by the art of photography. Learning how to
manipulate light and shadow and how those elements come together to
communicate ideas and create moods is something that has always been
fascinating and enjoyable”.

He is a graduate of Sacramento City College and California State
University Sacramento where he earned Bachelor’s degrees in both Media
Communications and Graphic Design as well as a post-graduate credential
in Education.
