I work in maille (often referred to as chainmail), typically making costumes, clothing, accents, and accessories. I tend to avoid working micro-maille because it is more time consuming and mostly for jewelry. Prices are easily negotiable as I do this for the love of the work, though one part that I must insist on is that I be allowed copies of the shoot my work is used in to add to my personal portfolio (I will not make any work public without express permission from you). I am happy to take unique and new ideas. If what you want made is not too overly specific in taste or size it may be an option to you to only rent the piece to reduce costs.

All pieces I make are a collaborated. I want the person modelling the piece (or coordinator of the shoot) to add their own tastes/vision to the design. It makes you happy, it is intellectually stimulating to me, I don't have to come up with a concept out of the blue, and the piece is truly YOUR piece.

Currently I am very fortunate to have all the modelling I need for my pet projects, so I won't be offering free pieces for modeling until that queue is about cleared. If you have a paid job offer, I work in order of when requests are received, with paying jobs bumped to the next spot (this is the fairest way in my opinion). I currently have no paid projects pending. I am learning to do my own photography (Mia's photos were shot by me), and may be willing to take up projects to hone my skill.
