I prefer out-of-studio shoots with mostly natural settings and lighting. I've been shooting since I was 13 years old. My Dad gave me a brand new Kalimar (Russian) SLR and I never stopped. I was first published in the 1980s. Four of my photos were published on the front page (top of fold) of the famous St. Louis Post-Dispatch, a Pulitzer newspaper. One of the most elite photo placements in the Midwest. My work has been published in 2,000 U.S. newspapers.

Spontaneous, the real you, in real settings. I approach photos more from the photojournalist's angle, less through highly controlled studio shooting. I don't do "assembly line photography": Same set, same shots, different models; I don't do that. Every photo is as unique as every model. You deserve better than "assembly line studio shots."

And I believe a photo session should be fun. Your favorite music, chatting, laughing, relaxed. Even if it's intense, it can be relaxed.
