I have a love for photography in both the outdoors and the unique interior locations of Northern Michigan. I have been an amateur photographer for over 20 years and am now looking to make the change into a professional career. After over a decade as a professional historian focusing on both Michigan's history and the history of photography, I possess a strong editorial eye. I am currently looking to enhance my portfolio with fashion, student, sport, and portrait photographs. I prefer to photograph on location only - beaches, forests, abandoned cabins, barns, factories, etc.

I believe that photo shoots are a collaboration between photographer and model. As such, I treat all of my models with respect and value any of their thoughts and ideas.
