About Me

I received my BFA from William Carey College where I studied Studio Ceramics.  I picked up photography during this time for portfolio building purposes.  The need for quality photos of my pottery turned quickly into an interest in the media.  I shot with film on a beat up old 35mm for years until I lost the equipment.  I moved reluctantly to digital after that, but the technology at the time didn't appeal to me so I haven't been pursuing anything seriously.  As digital cameras evolved I spent more time getting to know about photo editing software.  In 2015 picked up a new Canon 7D Mk II and I'm excited about the opportunities that the new technology is bringing to the art.
