I began with stage acting in 2011, as Hortensio in "Kiss Me, Kate" at the Sarasota Players. From there I moved on to student and independent films, beginning in the Summer of 2013 with an appearance in "No Real Than You Are: A Sarasota Film," filling in the long hiatus with singing and dancing lessons to improve my performing abilities, all the while learning the acting craft in the field. My first modelling gig came around the same time as NRTYA when I answered an ad on Craigslist posted by the creators of "GrapplingGirls.com" where to this day I appear in mixed wrestling videos, regularly getting trounced by lady wrestlers. I have also had brief stints modelling for art classes and independent photographers and am currently involved in a sci-fi fantasy web series. I recently made the decision to try introducing my femme alter ego into my performing and modelling pursuits, culminating in a recent shoot which took place at a mansion in Bird Key.
While the world of regional theatre and independent film has been fun and educational, it has not been entirely stable when it comes to exposure, as some creators have difficulty finishing projects for release, and also when it comes to career advancement; my resume grows by the year, but as yet has remained at the underground level and I have to keep my day job, which often creates conflict. I am hoping to connect with more professionals here on Model Mayhem and see if I'm cut out to make something of myself.
