As a professional photographer for over 40 years specializing in fashion, portrait, product, and life-style photography, my passion is photographing women and their many moods. Although my current studio is in northwestern CT, (because of its logistical location), I often shoot in N.Y.C., Boston, and other east coast cities. I was first trained as a painter and sculptor, but photography is my greater passion and I continue to make my living from it today.

I developed my lighting, shooting skills, and love for photographing women-as-women in N.Y.C. in the time of Avedon, Penn, Helmut Newton, Peter Lindbergh, and Guy Bourdin (if you don't know these photographers, please look them up). I am always looking for my next special face, intense eyes, and form of a woman to add to my portfolio (especially those models that have lived some of life, like those photographed by Peter Lindberg, who just happens to be the same age as me). I rarely shoot nudes or pinups; I prefer to photograph women as they are, with a hint of makeup, naturally alluring.

Recently, I've also moved into the creation of short films for the fashion, product, and behind the scene for clients. It’s exciting to extend my love of light and working with the models in this venue.
