First I'll state that I work for a structural engineering office and painting is something I enjoy at my leisure.
Oil portrait paintings is my area of most experience. I have been drawing since I can remember and have develop a strong understanding of drawing throughout the years. I took on the challenge of color through oil painting about three years ago. I currently work from photographs but I want to develop more of a painting-from-life style and eventually apply abstract features in my work. My paintings all have a photo-realistic appearance. I continue to study other artists to saturate my understanding of techniques and materials. My goal is to establish a nice studio to accommodate live model painting.
