About Me

Hello there! My name is Shannon and I've wanted to be a model since I was a little girl. However, my disability started to develop when I was 10, so I didn't think I could be a model anymore. But now that the industry in opening up to with disabilities, I am determined to make my dream a reality!
My goal has always been to be a positive role model to others because I do not let my disability get in my way of living my life. I also want to teach tolerance of others because just because someone looks different on the outside, does not mean they are different on the inside. I want people to see photos of me think she can do it so can I; I want young girls in wheelchairs to say 'hey, she just looks me!'
I also went to college and I have a BA in psychology as well as a certificate in child development. I can travel around northern Virginia and DC also .
