About Me

Greetings humans! I am a portrait/fashion photographer from Peru. I have previously worked as an agency represented model in Miami and have found my purpose creating behind the lens (‘:

I’m seeking a team of agency represented/qualified fashion* muses, stylists/designers, and hair/makeup artists to collaborate with on a trade basis.

I am now on instagram: @dianizava - follow & DM me on there if you can’t get ahold of me on here

READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE CONTACTING ME:
*I have been receiving an overwhelming amount of messages and emails for free work. While I’m flattered, please consider the amount of time photographers put in AFTER the shoot is over. Post processing is very time-consuming and I also have to pay my bills. My schedule isn’t as open as it was last year so I will shoot selective* TFP if I feel it will enhance my portfolio and fits within the styles I have listed on my site.

Alsooo...

* I’m not interested in shooting sexy photos on the beach, models in their undergarments, or sexually suggestive looks.
* I do NOT shoot nudity or implied nudity.
* I’m not compensating models so please don’t send me your rates.
* If you reach out to me with the intention of shooting other types of portraits, shoot me a message/email and I’ll send you my rates.
* For paid work, I require a booking deposit of $120 to reserve your spot.

This is me, with a wig, in case you have trust issues (like I did) meeting photographers online. Yup, not a creep–a bit quirky, but no, I won’t kidnap you so let’s get shooting (*-*)/

*Also, I’ve noticed many models on here “only accepting paid work” and immediately dismissing the possibility for TF in their “about me” –when they only have a few, lacking industry-quality, &/or old photos posted. If this is truly your updated portfolio, you should seriously reconsider TF with photographers from time to time. When agency represented, you will be required to keep your portfolio updated as our looks can change as quickly as within a year. The quality of your portfolio will command paid work vs how much experience you say you have. When casting for gigs, your portfolio is what they look at–not how many years you’ve been modeling or the number of gigs you’ve done. Your portfolio is your business card and if you want to get far in this industry, you have to keep an open mind, remain humble and continuously update your portfolio with quality photos. I was signed to 2 agencies, working many paid gigs and never dismissed the possibility for TF with great photographers. Just offering some sound advice based on my own experience as a signed model as well as the experiences from other successful models I know personally. I genuinely wish you all much success in your journeys <3

"I have worked with Diana several times, and every time its been a pleasure. She makes shooting feel like an artistic collaboration between the 2 of you because she has great vision but is also eager to hear and implement your ideas. She is always prepared with props and equipment to enhance the shoot, is very responsive when you reach out to her and delivers your photos in a reasonable amount of time. She recently got a new camera that takes incredibly high resolution photos that are so clear and crisp, and her edits come out so beautiful that I would suggest planning something very conceptual to have prints made. I would recommend her to anyone." Read less
