Hi I’m Madisyn, I’m 21 years old from Billings Montana. I’m going to share my body image story because it’s the reason why I want to be a model today.
Ever since I was a little girl I’ve always had a passion for modeling, I loved being in front of the camera. When I was 15 years old I went from petit (120 lbs) to very heavy (185 lbs) and being only 5’3” my weight showed. I was teased because of my body and I looked at myself as ugly, fat, and gross. My self confidence was nonexistent at this point in my life.
When I was 18 years old I started to drop weight just by walking and long boarding. So I started to work harder by swimming, running, and boxing and eating right. By the time I was 19 years old I weighed 120 lbs.
The hard work I put into excising was the main foundation for my self confidence. I started taking pictures of myself in lingerie and sending them out to my girlfriends. I quickly started to get more and more sent to me in return. I was told by a good friend that “seeing your pictures has inspired me to feel sexy in my body and to have the confidence to take pictures and actually feel like I am beautiful, flaws and all. Thank you so much.”
Reading that message made me realize that I want to be a model because I want to inspire women to feel sexy, beautiful, and confident in their bodies no matter what weight, height, color, or race they are.
That’s my story and I hope that explains why I would make an amazing addition to your model team.
