I am a SW Florida photographer and I have a passion for Fashion/Modeling photography. I have been loving what I do for over 30 years and I am always willing to help models and future models create portfolio images. I shoot mostly around Port Charlotte and the surrounding areas in natural settings and/or my home studio.

Please understand that a lot of my work has not been posted here or even on my website (JohnGreenPhoto.com), but I display enough of what I do for you to get a feel for what we will accomplish. I primarily shoot on a TFCD basis, unless I have a client that is paying for all services, including the model. Although, I am always open to collaborating with models that can bring something new in the way of emotion and expression. NO EXPERIENCE? DON’T BE SHY!

NO FLAKES! If you do not call or text me shortly after our first contact by private message, I will lose interest because of your lack of motivation! I would never cancel our appointment the same day unless it is an emergency. You should not as well. Flakes will be listed as such!!!

PROOF OF AGE! I will take a picture of your official picture ID at our first shoot for my records, before we begin shooting. If you have put your age as "99", or something funny like that, I probably will ignore your request. I am professional so it will help if you are too and put your actual age and your real and current measurements in your 'Stats' section. We all want to know up front who and what we are working with. You want me to be up front and honest with you, so please be up front and honest with me. This isn't Facebook, Instagram, or Match.com. Not a dating site. It is an exchange of professional photographic services. If do not work with models under the age of 18. I will have all parties sign a release form on the day of shoot, no exceptions!

PRE SHOOT MEETING!  If we have never worked together before, I prefer to meet and get acquainted. You get to see that I am a professional; I get to see if you look like the pictures in your portfolio. These meetings are held in a safe, public place like Starbucks or Panera or some casual restaurant convenient to us both.

ESCORTS!  Escorts are no problem as long as the person is unobtrusive.  If your escort is willing to help me with things like holding a reflector, I'll take advantage of the offer, but it is not a requirement.  In my experience, husbands, boyfriends and parents do not make good escorts.  Even the most experienced models very often get self conscious with them watching, but if they are your preference, I don't object.

Other than that, all I ask is that you try to have a good time. I certainly do. I hope to make you laugh, because I do laugh at myself. I tend to get clumsy when shooting as I pay more attention to you, the model, than I do my surroundings. I have been known to bust booty by such things as tripping over mangrove roots, slipping in muddy water, or hitting my head on trees. But I still laugh. I hope you do too!
