I have done a lot of work for some websites I manage and I'm keen to further develop my mainstream portfolio to include classic, classy and artistic images and I'm doing the occasional wedding fairs and shows.

I am a firm believer in honesty and getting the shot right to start with rather than spending hours in Photoshop making up for deficiencies in the actual photograph or the model herself: far too many over-'shopped images on modelling profiles that end up looking like CGI! That's not to say I won't edit out a blemish or a bruise, but I won't iron out the wrinkles and bags or put someone else's fuller lips on a model, unless I'm being paid for it!

I need to expand my portfolio now with some more shoots with different models, so please get in touch if you'd like to work with me; no more psychos or stalkers please! ~:0)

July 2014: A home shoot with Miss Pixie ##640639 which was great fun with some whacky ideas; she's another recommended model! Pixie left me this reference:

"I had a lovely little evening shoot with Richard and Ali Brooks while I was on shooting trip in London. We worked on some art nude and sexy lingerie images. Richard had some amazing stockings and shoes for me to dress up in I would highly recommend working with Richard and I'm looking forward to working with him and Ali Brooks again soon for a longer shoot as we had a little too much fun gossiping hehe Thanks for a lovely evening!"

April 2014: A studio shoot with Zara Watson #2520960 Zara is such a professional: moving effortlessly between poses and giving me 100% (even though I wasn't in the zone that day). Not even remotely diva-esque either; her laugh is infectious too so we had a great time. Also plays nicely with others: I had Ali Brooks along with me and they shot together for part of it. I would heartily recommend Zara to any photographers, regardless of their experience - you'll get great results!

Zara left me this reference: "Worked with Richard as part of my studio day at Saracen House Studio. He is a very lovely guy, friendy, funny, easy going ...a pleasure to work with. He also brought along his lovely partner Ali Brooks (another model) whom i worked with, she is also a great lady, easy to get on and work with. We shot a mixture of styles and Richard has been so kind as to send me the images from the shoot, which are great. I would definately recommend Richard , a sound, respectful guy. I would work with him again without any hesitation. Thanks a million x"

January 2014: A wonderful home shoot with Ali Brooks #1693880. Communications were excellent in the run-up to the shoot and Ali brought everything with her that she needed for the shoot. She's fun to work with, poses effortlessly, snapping poses left, right and centre. She's even better looking in the flesh than in the photos so certainly no shocks or disappointment and clearly she lies about her age, being in her late 20s at most! The time flew by and with the outfit changes we ran slightly over the time I'd booked, but only I said anything about it and we shot away until I got the shots I wanted. A sparkling personality and sense of humour shone through as well, so it was a true pleasure from start to finish. So much so that I asked her availability as she was leaving so I can get her into a studio to really do her justice. We're now shooting in that studio in March.

Ali left me a reference over on Purpleport: "Went and shot with Richard. Well what can I say. Had a fantastic 2 days shooting. Was a very fun and productive shoot.. Richard is both professional and very friendly and was very comfortable working together. Would highly recommend working with Richard. I've already booked to work with him again. So can't wait xxx"

May 2013: A couple more shoots with Alexa Star #815244 who wrote:

February 2013: A great shoot with Elle Black #1858002 this week. She really is so professional and yet great fun and it's always good to have an intelligent discussion with someone. The time flew by, so we'll have to book again soon.

November 2011: Had a test shoot with Holly Locket #324962 today. Her photos don't do her justice: she's even better-looking in real life than her profile would suggest and is a really nice person too! She was really open to suggestions for themes and poses and was a joy to work with. Our next shoot is already planned!  Holly wrote on Purestorm:

November 2011: Another fun shoot today with Emma Kate Dawson #695036 playing with poses and some smouldering looks. I love working with EKD!

August 2011: Another shoot with Anita De Bauch #177680 Street fashion, featuring a couple of latex outfits followed by a lifestyle shoot over lunch! Fabulous as always working with Anita.

July 2011: I had a studio shoot with Anita De Bauch #177680 and Madame Bink #357794 at LightSpotStudio. Both were really professional yet friendly and a great laugh and they were simply phenomenal with their imagination and posing. Nothing was too hard or difficult and the poses she created were stunning. My job was so easy as both were so natural and so imaginative. Thoroughly recommended and can't wait to work with both of them again! Oh and Anita makes fab cookies!

March 2011: I had an evening shoot with Emma Kate Dawson #695036: she's fabulous to work with - very friendly, very enthusiastic, a great laugh and so professional too. I wouldn't hesitate to work with her again and we already have idea for our next studio shoot. I can see why she's so busy!
Emma wrote: "Oh!!!Where to start! I haven't laughed so much in ages!! Richard and I got on like a house on fire! We shot at a location that we thought may be a mistake but with everything going wrong it just made us all the more determined to get something. The shoot was great and really perked me up! He had some great ideas and is a photographer who knows what he wants. He's brilliant to get along with and respectful. I can't wait to shoot with him again!!!"

January 2011: I worked with Marlyn Lindsay (Purestorm) - it was an absolute pleasure! She's a true professional and a joy to 'work' with - a "can do" mentality with a wardrobe to die for! Fun to work with and I even got coffees and teas (and biscuits and an offer of food)! We've already got some ideas for further shoots and I would recommend her in an instant to anyone wanting to work with a fantastic model. The first model I've ever got through an entire memory card with (and more): the poses, outfits and ideas were coming thick and fast.

January 2011. I worked with Jo-Louise Kelsey #696494 - what a pleasure to work with such a consummate professional: very natural, stunning and so friendly too. I would definitely recommend her and will work with her again. She wrote of me: "...it would be great to work with you again for sure..."
