I'm torin.

My 20+ years experience in the entertainment business
include doing makeup & hair styling & costuming/wardrobe for TV, film,
events, red carpet, CD / DVD covers, magazine editorials, music
videos, stage & theater, commercials, catalog, web-internet… and more!
As someone who has worked extensively in various aspects of the
entertainment environment I have found that I get hired (and re-hired)
because I'm professional, punctual, talented & fun.  Also, I am
well-versed in working with people of various ethnic backgrounds and
skin tones.

Debbie Harry (Blondie), Celia Cruz (Salsa music legend), Tito Puente
(Latin music legend), Marc Anthony (Pop & Latin music superstar),
Gilbert Gottfried (comedian), Camryn Mannheim (Actress), Charles Busch
(Playwright & Actor), Cheryl "Pepsii" Riley (R & B singer), la India

In 2006, I even did some headshot photography (which included makeup
and hair) that appeared in the Playbill for the Broadway production of

please keep in mind... this is what i do for a living, this is not a hobby or part-time thing.

----- My day rates varies depending on the project / event.
I need to know details about the scope of your project to give you my rates for working on it.
(duration of the project, hours, type of work, is this project going to be sold, etc.)

"exposure" via film festival submission is not sufficient compensation for me.

remember, the audience / magazine editors / readers / paparazzi etc
are looking at the FACES of your actors / performers etc, so it is important that they look their BEST
to make sure the rest of the presentation is represented properly...

...you might have the best camera and lenses and editors in the world, but if the actors / performers etc
have bad hair & makeup, then the rest of your work would have been in vain.

regarding TFP projects & projects that are under my normal day fee...

these projects require:TRAVEL, ACCOMODATIONS, + KIT FEE & any other extra expenses (wigs, specialty makeup, etc...)
to be handled by the producers of the project. 

all of that is discussed and agreed upon BEFORE i get to your shoot.
