I am a former resident of New Orleans and the influence can be seen in my style.  Costume design and character development are 2 of my particular talents.  All of the photos posted in my portfolio are self portraits or have been taken by friends and I created the themes for the shoots.  I've been into second-hand items for 2 decades and have become a talented jewelry artist, many times recreating a piece from something old.  I am also a history minor that is fascinated by clothing throughout the ages and an avid film buff, preferring international films with an influence on world culture.  I plan to get my masters in theatrical costume design, as that is one of my main talents. 

When people look at my photos, they often don't recognize me.  I can morph into many things - "a chameleon-type".  I met a major producer recently with over 30 years in the entertainment industry, including Broadway.  He was amazed at my natural skill and was in disbelief that I'd never been formally trained.  He stated, "this is definitely some form of art, you are entertaining people in these photos."  When he saw my "Goth Rocker" shoot, he was convinced that I should become a Rockstar.  I said, "no, I'm not a singer, I'm only acting like one, put me on a stage in front of 1,000's and I'd die of fright, but put me in front of a camera and I can be just about anything."  He replied, "well, whatever you are, you sure had me fooled.  Look, I've met a lot of people in the business who thought they were talented when they weren't.  You've got talent.  I have nothing to gain by saying it, it's just a fact." 

Give me an era to represent and you will not be disappointed.  I can achieve it with my imagination, because this is a hobby I truly love.
