Vaughn Jereaux is an American fashion designer based in New York City who began his professional career creating couture eveningwear for women. While pursuing his B.A. in fashion design at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, Vaughn’s artistry and entrepreneurial skills were recognized in 2007 when he won NBA player Allan Houston’s Business Education and Development Program. Through this fellowship, Vaughn continued to strengthen his skills and vision in women’s design, and in 2008, his rapid success led to him winning Russell Simmons’ entrepreneur creative competition, Race to Be.

In November 2013, Vaughn debuted his menswear company titled, American Boy New York (ABNY), which became increasingly popular with everyday influencers and celebrities, such as Shad Moss (also known as Bow Wow), former host of BET’s 106 & Park, and actor and musician Rotimi from STARZ’s original series’ BOSS and POWER. In addition, ABNY was featured in PaperCut Magazine, The Gentleman’s Daily and Stuffflypeoplelike.com.

Following the success of American Boy New York, In 2015 Vaughn changed the company name from American Boy New York to Vaughn Jereaux to better suit his imminent goals to develop the company as a fashion house. The name change will enable Vaughn to expand the company to offer new and exciting product lines such as, Vaughn Jereaux Womenswear, Vaughn Jereaux Gowns, Vaughn Jereaux Home, and Vaughn Jereaux Accessories.

Vaughn continues to push the envelope when it comes to creating complex yet simple pieces for everyday influencers and celebrities. Vaughn Jereaux is worth keeping an eye on-Great things are ahead!
