Ira Sumardi was born on the 15 March 1977 in Padang Sidempuan, Indonesia.
Since a young age, she's been interested in fashion thru it's exposure on cable TV and magazines. During her stay in Singapore in 1999, to fill her time, she took modeling school.
At this time, Ira began to develop interest in make up, there for she took a make up course at Cosmo Prof, Singapore.
Upon retuning to Jakarta she continued her university study in accountancy.
How ever, as she finished her study, she decided to pursue a career as a make up artist. This is due to her friend encouragement of her great talent.
In 2003, Ira started doing make up for tabloids, home services make up than on to magazines. As her experiences grew, she began taking make up jobs for films, theater, TV Commercials, Print Ada, Video Clips, weddings and Pre Wedding.
Ira believes that in giving her the freedoms of expressing her make up, she would give the optimal result, but still interpreting what the clients had in mind.
Her make up style is always very detailed, classy and elegant but still considered by many as looking very natural and never excessive, therefore bringing out each individual beauty and character.
