I maintain a high degree of personal integrity and expect the same from the people I work with.  Since the definition of professionalism seems to vary, I’ll give you mine; it’s called the ethic of reciprocity, more commonly referred to as the golden rule.  Simply put, it means that one has a right to just and principled treatment, and a responsibility to ensure that others are treated with respect and dignity.
