I have been taking pictures for most of my life.  My Dad taught me some things at an early age, but I didn't really do much with it.  It wasn't until College that I actually started to get a bit more serious about taking pictures.  And even then, that I wasn't that serious about it.

I attended a regular monthly night at a local night club, where I started getting myself a bit more into things.  This was around 2004 or so.  I was actually modeling for many of the local photographers, when I decided that there were some things that I wanted pictures of myself.  So I picked up a digital point and shoot camera, and that was the end of me.

Within a year, I picked up a DSLR, and I have been working on honing my skills ever since.  I believe that we are always learning new things, honing our skills.

Update 2021:  I lost everything a few years back placed myself fully into work.  So I am slowly building my equipment and portfolio back up.
