Marty's reputation for excellence stems from over twenty seven years of experience in the Hair and Fashion industries. His advanced training with top tier academies including, Aveda, Graham Webb, Rusk, The Canadian Master Team, and Kevin Murphy, led him to the position of Senior Designer for the Rusk Artistic Team.

Marty returned to Canada after a short stay abroad to open his 'Boutique Salon' with the concept of emphasizing the individual, transcending trends and launching looks.

This approach to beauty introduced him to the world of print; working with local photographers and fashion designers offered opportunities as Lead Stylist for various magazines, a nomination as Canadian Session Stylist of the Year, P&G Hairstylist of the Year, and placement during New York Fashion Week.

Marty can be found behind the chair, backstage at fashion events, creating segments for magazines and television, on stage for the hairdressing industry, or behind the lens at photo shoots. He continues to offer edgy high style classics to a discerning clientele of color conscious clients that constantly redefine his skills.
Marty had the opportunity to supervise the creation of hairstyles during the Opening/Closing Ceremonies of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

Marty currently works as Education Liason and Core Lead at Delmar College of Hair Design in Calgary Alberta, Canada
