I am an artist working in several mediums.
My photographic work consists of surreal, nondigitally altered, works of darkroom magic. These are produced through a kind of shadow puppety using my hands, arms, and various objects in order to seamlessly meld one or more negatives on one print.
My work is often deemed erotic.However, I am quite happy with that. The images are meant to evoke individualized experiences, thoughts, or emotions. The use or inclusion of flesh is instantly recognizable and is at once off-putting and alluring.
The making of art is a highly "sacred" act in my opinion. Regardless of the medium each artist is channelling emotion/energy into the work which in turn emanates from the work and resonates within the viewer/listener.
