Oliver Solomon is a commercial portrait/fashion photographer based in Northern NJ.  Oliver's love of photography stems from a deep rooted fascination with the human character, which developed during his 30 years as a professional actor in New York.

The beauty of his images lies in his unique ability to get at the very truth of a person while at the same time creating an intriguing character.  They are an interesting juxtaposition of humor and vulnerability - genuine raw emotion and performance - with Oliver as the director of a complex narrative.

Oliver photographs a diverse group of subjects, ranging from newborns to senior citizens and from fashion models to the homeless.  He has an easy time of communicating with people from all walks of life, so regardless of age or background, a stunning portrait is always achieved.

Oliver is primarily self taught in photography though quite focused on advances in technology and he is constantly experimenting with new photographic techniques.
