I'm a professional artist and teacher, MFA UCB '83, and have shown in NYC, SF, Boston, ETC. Figure drawing, painting, mix media, printmaker and lately digital.

I have lived in Taiwan and traveled widely in Asia, also am a student of Asian Art History and Culture.
Currently I'm working on a series of American/Asian hybrid images using kimonos I've made with print/paint/photo images in a variety of techniques. 
I also love to draw and paint from my model; after years of drawing in class settings it is an incredible luxury to draw/paint with a private model!
We work in my live/work studio which is private and comfortable with great light. Model's limits always respected.
I do only Fine Art work, for gallery scene, not commercial photography, but have worked with favorite models to build their portfolios as well.  I'm comfortable and friendly to work with, respect limits, and really admire a good model who is also a muse and collaborator. Obviously from my portfolio, the work is quirky and personal and moody, also playful; I would love to do more body painting and cos-play, as that fits my overall theme. I'm not a technically tight photog, I see the work here as base for mix media.

I have worked with some really great models through MM, very nice mellow guys who feed the work and are fun to hang with. its been surprising! No attitude, please.
