About Me

Been playing with stock photography for several years and thought this site may provide some contacts to further that endeavor. I have also been exploring some stylized fine art work. I think there is a market for it, just need to fine tune where and how to sell it the best. Things have changed a bit since I created my profile on here... (guess I should update it) Went from shooting in my dinning room to having a studio independent of our home (though located on the same property) that consist of office area, gallery/sales area and about 450 sq feet of shooting area. Also gained multiple large rustic out buildings to shoot in and around, a stand of timber and an open field (all but the field can be somewhat private)

Life is good!

I am just a guy trying to learn as much as I can and hope this site will allow me to network with people and build some relationships where we can help each other out.

I want to produce that picture that has the qualities to bring a person’s attention back to it. I want to make viewers question what they see. I want to create a PG image that has the impact of an X rating… My stock work must be suitable for mainstream media. I am open to many other types of shoots, let me know what you might have in mind and I will do my best to accommodate. If it is something I can’t do or am uncomfortable doing I will let you know up front.

Photos I want to create:

Stock photos: (Stock photography puts the model in a role. Anything that could use a picture of a pretty lady portraying it is fair game) So, if you ever wanted to be a doctor, lawyer, cowgirl, sport celeb, pilot or whatever you can imagine, this can be a lot of fun.
A basic example:
Short button up dress, lab coat (doctors badge?) Poses… 1)Standing with a clipboard and pen… writing, contemplating, or pointing to the clipboard. 2) Sitting (showing a lot of leg) Smiling looking over the top of the clipboard. 3) Anything else that would depict a sexy, smart, modern, enticing lady doctor.

I would like to get a picture of a model, dressed in any current day role, talking on her cell phone with a totally excited, positive look that shows she has just got some great news!

There is room for implied nude or nude pictures in stock work. Nude pictures cannot show ANY intimate body parts. (The end result MUST be pretty much PG so it can be used in mainstream advertising) One of the best examples I can think of is a photo (any theme… holiday, sports, fitness, business or whatever) in which the model holds a poster board in front of her (the poster board gives the user of the stock image a place to put their message) The model (and her exposed parts) capture the attention of the targeted audience!

General photos:
I am open to capturing whatever photos a model may need to fill their portfolio (More than likely will find a use for them in my stock portfolio)

Cowgirl photos: My wife and I both are heavily involved in the equestrian world. We have most of the props needed for any cowgirl themed shoot (Hats, boots, chaps, ropes, guns, saddles, and even the horses, if you are inclined) The possibility here is boundless… from crisp show type outfits to old west Calamity Jane (lady shooter) to saloon girl or other vintage pictures. And, any of these can be done to whatever degree of sensualness a model wants!
Special project: I want to create a picture that would emulate the sensual pictures hung behind the bar, in an Old West Saloon. Can be shot on a vintage couch, log bed, or simply surround the model with fabric. Pose and outfit can range from lingerie to erotic. I want to process this image and give it the feel of an ol’ west painting.

Looking forward to working with some of you!
