My name is Shidoshi and I am a professional face and body artist. I got involved in this field of work shortly after watching Brian and Nick Wolfe do some of their stuff at The Midwest Haunter’s Convention in Columbus, Ohio. I took some classes and workshops on face painting techniques which led me into an opportunity as a makeup artist for a local haunted house which also allowed me to improve on my SFX makeup skills.

I spent a lot of time practicing on my own and signing up for whatever classes and workshops I felt would teach me and I’ve been incredibly fortunate to paint alongside and learn from masters in the field such as Marcella Murad, Nix Herrerra (“Face-Off” Season 2), Athena Zhe (“Face-Off” Season 2), Jackie Steinart and Pashur.

The tools of my trade are sponge, brush and airbrush and I use only professional-grade tools and materials. I’ve developed my own signature style and I zealously seek out opportunities to learn more and work with other great artists and models to create amazing works of art. I perform my services under the banner of “Kabuki Body Art” – providing precision makeup services for every daring artistic endeavor. I am also a makeup artist, sculptor and fabricator for MORBID FX – a professional SFX studio in Columbus, Ohio.
