On December 24, 1990 Kamilah Meek was born in Hollywood, CA. Kamilah was raised in Carson, CA by her single mother. She was Grandma Nana’s first grandchild, her pride and joy. She was born with a smile that could light up a room. Thus, admired by all especially strangers for her beautiful qualities. She was cute, had charm and personality with a keen sense of her surroundings, and excelled in any environment and made friends everywhere she went.

As an adolescent Kamilah used making up words, dancing, and acting as a way of expression. She was able to make it to all of her auditions, attend all drill team practices, and still maintain her place on the honor roll. By the time she was in high school, she was captain and choreographer for her school hip-hop team, winning many championship awards. She was also designing and sketching her own outfits, auditioning for TV commercials and sitcoms, and working on camera as a featured extra. At the age of seventeen Kamilah graduated with her Associates of Art Degree two weeks prior to graduating with her high school diploma. She is now a graduate of UCLA. Kamilah am very passionate in both acting and hip-hop dancing; and now that she has finished school she is ready to pour her heart into my craft. Outgoing, creative, and very much the character her determination has the ability to take me to the top.

Audition after audition Kamilah stays determined and humble. She has appeared in various Nickelodeon and Disney shows such as Victorious and The Suite Life of Zach and Cody. She was casted for the film logo for Tracy Edmonds production company Our Stories. She’s worked on a Disney Animation shoot, where she was able to show her sketching skills, which impressed the directors. Recently, she was selected as the face of the Mercedes Benz Driving School promo. Now she is Maybelline, one of the coolest chicks to step foot into The Broadcast Club! Acting is her passion; she is constantly perfecting her craft and always waiting for her moment to shine!
