About Me

Heavily tattooed, rides a Harley, skateboarder, type 1 diabetic, and volunteer at the Humane Society.

Nick knew he would be taking photo and video for the rest of his life at age 15. Anything with creative concepts, heavy post production is what makes Nick light up! If it don’t flash, it don’t pass! He’s not a natural light photographer...the more lights the better!

Specializing in commercial and advertising photography + video. Typically working with agencies, publications, large to small businesses, and individuals for their personal branding.

Currently calling Toledo, Ohio home, Nick has lived most of his life traveling living in other places. California was Nick's first stopping grounds at 18 years old where he developed his edgy style while interning at Loyalty Creative and assisting under celebrity/fashion photographer Kevin Ou.

Nick is the co-founder of Common Creatives Studio. A full out photo/video studio. You’ll find Nick there 95% of the time unless he's out grinding at the local skate park, cruising the streets on his motorcycle, or hanging with his dog Chopper.

We are excited to announce our third workshop: Lighting For Pros hosted by Aaron Geller Photography and Yana Galanin Photography.

In this full day seminar, we will cover various lighting setups and how to use a wide array of lighting equipment; how to work with models and agencies; and various retouching techniques.

Additionally, we will have a professional makeup artist (Melissa Whitt) available who will be sharing on what to look for when hiring a makeup artist.

We will have a model for the morning and afternoon sessions.

By the end of the workshop, you will have learned both foundational and advanced techniques with a complete understanding of what each modifier does, how to work with models, and new images in your portfolio.

Be sure to bring your camera, laptops, and creativity!

All participants will receive a discount on studio rental rate.
