If you're reading this and you have no experience, I respect that you have to start somewhere but I will only make special exceptions to help you build your portfolio with a TFP shoot. When I was in your position, I learned I had two choices:

1. Find somebody at the same stage in the game to collaborate with: eager-beaver, bright eyed and bushy tailed.

2. Save save save to have a budget to hire a pro to jumpstart a career. Learn from and piggy back on the pros.

Yes, you can hire me :) My rates are very reasonable and I know what I'm doing.

My advise is to not just find a pretty face or a guy with a good camera, but to find somebody who's portfolio aligns with the vision you have in your head. Sure, a basketball player can play tennis, but a tennis player will probably have a few more tricks up their sleeve on the tennis court.
