About Me

I am approaching the art of taking photos with a definite method, a sense of movement, and the common goal of capturing a moment in a single frame. Coming from a street photography background, I believe the best way to compose a photo shoot is to have the model be very comfortable with the camera, themselves, and their surroundings. I like to incorporate the model's own choice of styling or music into my photo shoot itself. This way, all parts involved in the photo shoot become one and the model is free to truly express their art and personality. This is my approach to making the photo shoot feel natural, fun, and enjoyable for everyone involved.

I prefer shooting outside in natural light as well as working with film. I am able to shoot digital and film upon request. I do a lot of the work by myself, so turn around time for film shoots tends to be around 2 weeks, on the low end. This accounts for lab processing of the negatives, scanning, and artifact (scratches and dust) removal. If you have some ideas for collaboration or commission, please message me or contact me through my website.

If you want to change your photographs, you need to change cameras. Changing cameras means that your photographs will change. A really good camera has something I suppose you might describe as its own distinctive aura.
